There are small things that we do not know how to do ...... so there is series of books those will tell u how to do it yourself? check lists on www.ebooksengine.com and tell me did u like it our not?

go to the library and get a book, but dont mess with gas or electric, get a professional. also you can take a class in those things and get certified I have a friend who was a stay at home mom whom got her electrician license and plumbing just to be able to work on her home. You can do alot more than you think but a looking to the books most give you step by step

When you go shopping materials, for the things you want to DIY, Go to Lowes or Home Depot and while you are shopping, look at the books that are available, read the book while shopping, and ask questions to the sales associates....
by doing that you wouldn't have to buy so many books to cluster your home, save money and have your DIY at minimal expense.

Its a good way to learn and self dependens ! By this way you have not to ask any more to others. If you want to solve your problem urgently then you have to take sugestations from other.

don't like them. For do it yourself projects, go to one of the chain hardware stores and ask for booklets on the project. They have many and they are free
