ok. Here we go

I currently have a laptop and a PC. both windows. I have wireless broadband (netgear) and it is already set up on the lapto and working fine. It worked on the PC too, but unfortunatly i got a bad virus and had to re-install XP. When i put the wireless USB connecter into the PC, it comes up with found new hardware and then nothing. WHen i get into the internet, it doesnt work!! how do i set it up?

i have got the driver from the website and installed it, but when i double click on the icon it put on my desktop, absolutly nothing happens!!
also the internet still isnt working..

The driver was a Netgear WG111

You should have a software CD that came with the wireless USB connector. Install it.

The USB adapter should have come with a CD with an installer. It may also be on the manufacturer's website.

you need to install drivers for your new hardware. (Wireless modem drivers)

Right click on my computer/properties
Go to hardware/Device manager

Check out the tools in yellow colour. you are missing drivers for them. Google for the drivers ands install them.

once you install drivers and reboot, it will take the network setings and net will also start working.

u need to install your usb wifi card Driver from the CD setup.
