Well first I'd be absolutely destroyed after realising that I wouldn't be able to play my gee-tar ever again!
Or pretty much any other musical instrument for that matter... except maybe for a bass drum...
Then I'd wander into the bathroom and, after stopping in front of the toilet and staring for a while, start to quietly sob with bladder bursting despair...

I would freak out and wonder what to do with my life, because my hands are where my talent lies. I am an artist and I love music. If I couldn't play music or create art...or.. *gulp* not be able to type on the computer anymore...I don't know what I'd do...

I would still be alive so hey shocked but would get over it there are people worse off .... mind you having a tommy tank could prove a challenge.
