Picture her meeting a new person, sticking out her hand to be shaken, and saying, "Hi, I'm Beautiful!"
I can see that causing an awkward situation. They'll probably ask her what her name is again. They'll probably think she's conceited. They may even think she's insane.
I agree with those who said to pick a name that means "beautiful" instead.

It's cute but it isn't a 'REAL' name. WHAT IF: She isn't beautiful and on the playground/ throughout life everyone says 'hey beautiful you ain't beautiful'... lol I know that sounds ridiculous. If you're going to use it as a name I'd use it as a middle name. Some names just don't 'work'. Like the name America is the most ridiculous name I've ever heard a person be named. When I see her on tv I feel bad for her having such a bad sounding name...

Hey there beautiful isn't that a usual pick up line used on the hookers on TV
Sorry, but she may look like a pit bull when she's born and then the kids at school will really have a field day.
I'd skip the Deborah as well Deborah the whorah

You bet it is! No offense, but what if she ends up just being beautiful "on the inside?" ROFL Word names -- not commonly used as names -- always tend to come across as purposefully comical or at the very least, completely cheesy. Stick with a name that MEANS "beautiful," if you must.

personally i wouldnt name my daughter that but in the end it is up to you, but you should consider the impact on the child when in school and say another parent nicknames their child beautiful and says goodbye beautiful and your daughter will be confused as that is her name. if you want to name her that you could put it as her middle name?

Um, well that might be a tough one in the school yard.... How about Belle (beautiful) or Jolie (pretty), or some other name that means beautiful???

The kid would get teased and as a teenager, she'd really get it! No, keep that moniker for yourself between the two of you, not for others on the outside.
Perhaps use names that mean beauty, like:
Adora
Adonia
Calligenia
Aurora
Belita
Jolie
Beau
Good luck!

Think about a name. If it sounds presidential, go with it. If it sounds like a stripper's name, forget it. Also remember that kids in school are some of the world's cruelest people.

Please don't do that to your girl. It will be such a hard name to live with. How about calling her Bella? There are so many pretty names out there. Don't burden her with a weird name. Keep it simple. No inventive spelling of any name you choose.
