collegeboard says that 95% of the students have above a 3.75 gpa...how did the others get it?

i have like a 3.7

obviously yale is ridiculously hard to get into, but is it possible to get in even if your not crazy smart?

i get good grades, take ap's, am the captain of 3 sports, have played 3 varsity sports for 4 years, and im in one club.

Colleges do not ask for your IQ, and plenty of people applying to top schools speak more than one language fluently. If you were 'above genius' you could have graduated from college at age 12 like the others. Having a very high IQ simply means you should have a lot more to show for it, but right now you look like an average applicant at best based on your normal activities and no information about grades or test scores. People with very high IQs tend to show it early - like starting businesses, doing original scientific research, and getting things published.

Yale is a very tough school to get in to, almost like Harvard U.You might have a chance, but i really suggest studying a lot more to become a good scholar..anyways.GOOD LUCK!

The rest probably went to very competitive prep schools, took very rigorous programs, and did very well on the SATs. None of those things requires genius, but they do mean that they aren't just going to admit someone because of sports if their academic record is just reasonable.

Absolutely !!!! look at george w bush!!!!!!!
but then again ... grandaddy made a fortune laundering WWII german nazi funds .. and daddy had an oil fortune too ... so I guess if you have enough $$$$, your gpa doesn't count.
