I tested the interview form with a fake identity, and when you're done, it says
'thank you, we will call you to make sure your appointment'

and they didn't ask for any money or credit card numbers at all.

Without being there personally, I can't say yes or no. I CAN, however, guarantee you one thing...ANYBODY, and let me say that again - ANYBODY who asks you for money up front at any time for classes, photography, seminars, acting jobs, ANYTHING....run as fast as you can in the other direction, because they're NOT legit. A certified, professional talent agent will move mountains to help you get work WITHOUT CHARGING YOU, because they make 10% of everything you earn, and they know that if you don't work, THEY don't get paid. Period.

I've had a lot of experience with scams, so don't make the same stupid mistakes I did and save your money. ROSS REPORTS has one of the best lists of reputable agents around.

One of the things you might do is call your local "Screen Actors Guild" and/or Actors' Equity Association offices and ask whether this is a franchised agent.

Another is to call the Better Business Bureau and ask if there have been any reports.

If you make contact with the agency, and they attempt to make you pay a fee, they are not legitimate.

My suggestion is for you to find a professional theatre in your area, one that employs members of Actors Equity, and see if they offer classes or can refer you to a reputable teacher.

You see the table on the right, with their supposed "bookings" scrolling by? You can't click on any of those and get the NAME of the actor who they supposedly helped get this great job, or the specific part they played.

Probably because they DIDN'T get those jobs for those actors, and they'd be sued from here to Christmas if they said they did.

The names of those TV shows and movies were purposely selected to tempt their target demographic (you and other teens) into paying for their lessons.
