I think the question you're asking is, if your pc has a DVD recorder, can it record CDs as well? If that's the question, then the answer is definitely YES! Any DVD burner made for a pc (or a Mac) is also capable of burning CDs.

Unfortunately, No!

You need to convert the Recorded DVD to fit on a CD. There are plenty of free Programs that can do this. Check out CNET.com\downloads

Also remember that a CD is substantially smaller than a DVD, so you may only get a portion of your DVD on a CD-R

It should be. Just about every DVD burner is also capable of burning CD-R and CD-RW discs as well.

yes but if u wanna change ur dvd to cd format, u need software to do that.dvd burn dvd.cd burn to cd.
