look, recall that (a+b)^2 = a^2 + 2ab + b^2. The one you have there is somehow similar. If you let a=555 and b=445, then (a+b)^2 = (555+445)^2 = 555^2+2(555)(445)+445^2. Thus, it is also similar with (555+445)^2 or 1000^2 = 1000000.
