Hi guys-

I posted on here a couple days ago.. I had a miscarriage a month ago at 7 weeks. The week and a half before it I was in and out of the hospital because of complications so the last 6 weeks have been very hectic and it seems more like years.. for some reason the last week I have been getting just very depressed, more than I did the first few weeks. Each day it seems to get worse.. I have been trying to help others on this board because it's the only time I generally an ounce of 'okay'. Sometimes though, while reading news of someones good news I get that lump in throat want to cry feeling :( (But I am still happy for all of you regardless!)
Sorry to babble- my question was.. because I can't afford therapy, I was wondering if anyone had any good online support groups or websites I could look at or share my story.. etc etc.. I'd really appreciate it.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I can totally relate in that I have also recently lost a person that I loved. Not a miscarriage, but a person that I was in love with. No 2 stories are the same, so no one can ever truly know the others' pain, but one can empathize. Consider yourself hugged! Please feel free to email me if you'd like to just talk. I'm not sure of any websites to refer you to, as I too have looked around for some. Can't afford therapy. Hope you find the healing that you need. I hate cliches but "time heals"..and it really will..I hope. Love and light to you, hun.

Hello,

I'm sorry for your loss. I went through the same thing last year. I had a miscarriage at 6 weeks and I was devastated. I did not get depressed right after it happend but I did get depressed around the time I would have been due to give birth. I know how you feel it just doesn't seem fair to read other peoples post about how far along they are asking and asking about baby names. I just wonder why it happens to some us and not to others?. I'm glad your doing better and if your TTC again I wish you luck and that you have a healthy baby! Helping others does help. I can't afford therapy either but I would suggest going to a support group or speaking to a counselor. I hope it works....

Take care

I dont know of any support groups but i do know that the best group is your friends and family. My bestfriend has had 3 miscarriages and altho it is Very hard to cope with take comfort in the fact that you can always try again. Wait about 6 months to let you uterus completely heal before trying again. Talk with your friends and family and let them know how you really feel. Its just like any other death. Its very hard to get over But you must keep you head up and try to keep your mind off of it. Family always knows the best way to cheer you up and help you with the experience.

Sorry for your loss. I hope you dont take any offence to this in anyway.

I haven't searched myself, but if you go to Yahoo! or Google groups you can search by keyword. I bet there are support groups for people who have had similar experiences. Sending you oodles of best wishes and hope things will get better for you.

silent unity is awesome and they keep up with you and while are a religious group do not push religion. I have lost too and they really help. www.unityonline.com Said before no one, nothing, can replace a warm hug, ice cream(or whatever your comfort food is), movies and laughter.
