If you did hear about it, I would like specific sources. To say it is on the news is too general. Was it on network TV, CNN, a local news stations carrying world news?

No, Mr Scrooge, you are wrong. Yahoo news did report it. http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20070907/wl_nm/syria_israel_dc_10

You are incorrect also, Mr. Zizzlezude. This was no everyday occurence. In fact, Israel has not attacked Syria in 30 years. http://www.democracynow.org/article.pl?sid=03/10/06/1552204

I first saw it in an RSS feed in My Yahoo.

This is a very strange set of events. No one is reacting as they have in the past when Israel has done something similar. I would have expected the Bush crowd to be especially noisy about it, but this seems to be a radical deviation of the usual political rhetoric.. The news was originally leaked by an anonymous US Govt source, countered literally within minutes by several USG sources saying it WASN't nuclear in nature. One of the more puzzling aspects was the North Korean negative reaction to the Israeli raid before any details were leaked a week later. Why would they care? For the past week it appears all new updates & details are announced by the (London) Times before appearing in other media. The US media seems to be ignoring it as much as possible.

My take on this is it might have been nuclear material of some kind from North Korea that the Israelis bombed. One of the reasons I believe this isn't another WMD lie is the lack of rhetoric from the White House. If the stuff is nuclear & came from North Korea, then Bush's diplomatic success with the NKs is less than successful. If it wasn't, they would just simply say so, don't you think, in order to save his legacy?

Either way, I hope the Jews destroyed it all, whatever it was.

Of course i heard about it. It was on CNN as well as several other news sources and on the net as well.
Its no big deal, i mean there are always small skirmishes in between Syria and Israel. They stay on the brink of war. Terrorists hiding in Syria lob missiles into Israel at civilian targets, Israel retaliates. Happens all the time. Thats why not much was said about it.
No cover-up like you are making it sound.

yeah they were hush hush at the begining but now they allready talked about it. what we bombed was nucllear facilities that syria was making with the help of north korea (thats why north korea was pissed when it happened) and we were succesful too-who knew syria was even doing this??

Newspaper, and its hush hush because the Syrians were obviously doing something wrong. Also shows Israel can kick *** and take names whenever it wants, Syria couldn't even counterattack.
