well it started out as music, now it should change to BTV, brat television

Yea like Justin said on the VMA's "Bring back the music!" MTV has really gone off on a reality show deep end. They only music that MTV plays is the videos early in the morning or TRL which doesn't even play whole videos. I do like some of the shows like The Hills, Newport Harbor, and the Real World, but I hate shows like Next and Exposed. They did change it to Media Television or something, but it doesn't really make much of a difference.

I from the old days ,we had 8 track back then .
We thought MTV was the greatest thing that was ever on TV when it first came on, but then again cable was somthing new also..
But to look at what it has become is a shame. I turned it on the other day and I set there for almost 20 min. before giving up and watch something else.

They actually changed the M to mean Media so its Media Television, and all the music is on early in the morning between 7-10 on weekdays

Well last time I checked they showed music videos in the morning. Now they have thing like "MTV cribs" to "My Super Sweet 16". People like to watch these things because it's interesting or they want to watch idiots make a fool out of themselves on television. It amuses me sometimes to watch spoiled people do what they want.

its way gone now i don't watch MTV no more since they lost the music VMA's were the best now its suck what happend i don't know i guess stupid rich people wanted to see them self make an *** out them self i hate the new shows i hate "Next, Room Raiders, the real world now sucks so badly i miss the late 80's 90's MTV

I agree with Confused... it was great in the 80's... now, I don't even bother with MTV anymore... nothing worth watching on it...

I remember when MTV was only music videos all day long!! Now the only time you see them is during TRL.. lol..

I don't know, but it was great in the early 80's. That's all there was. Music videos were new then. Maybe they just got old.

Reality shows have taken it over, Justin made a comment like that on the VMA's.
