THe one that went missing a couple of weeks ago . he was very experienced and went missing I think in a wooded (maybe mountain) area. I can't rememeber his name!

No. They called off the search over a week ago. I heard a truck drive (female) who is familiar with the Nevada/California area (to some extent) who had been doing the search on google (the video taken by satellite or over fight video is put up on the web and people can sign on and visually search the terrain using their computers. They did it for the lost sailor last year, too). Any way, she said she was pretty sure she found the plane kind of hanging over a cliff, but looking as part of the cliff, and she had reported the coordinates. That's all I know. It's pretty sad for the family, not having a finish, but I think he died the way he would have wanted to, if he is gone.

they haven't found him but I saw one report that stated that area is littered with planes that have crashed so it is really likely they won't unless it is by accident. They have given up looking because of that reason.

No they have not. They think they know his flight pattern now, and are still looking.
