I don't really have friends in college so I was thinking of joining a sorority in the hopes of meeting new people who will stand by me. The only problem is...I don't do the party thing. I don't drink, smoke, or stay out late (latest ever is midnight) I feel that this may clash with any sorority so if anyone can give a good insight on whether I shouldn't bother or go on please let me know :)

As someone who does belong to a sorority, I've been really grateful for the opportunities I've had and the sisters I've shared them with.

Just because you're joining a sorority doesn't mean you have to change who you are - if you find the right organization for you, they won't care either way, they'll just be excited to have an amazing new addition to their chapter. I don't really do any of the things you mention (I drink, but nothing more than a glass of something with dinner; I don't smoke anything at all; and I have 8am classes, so no staying out late for me!), and I still get along and hang out with all of my sisters. And there are a lot more of us who share the same values than you think!

Going through recruitment doesn't mean you have to go Greek, so give it a shot! I hope everything goes well for you.

It can't hurt to meet the members and see if their idea of lifestyle fits with yours. If not, there are plenty of other options for organizations you might join to meet people at most universities.

Join a service group. They do volunteer work and less partying. It also looks pretty good for a job interview.
