Hi Rena,
There are so many things that have an effect on our life that I don't think there is one determining factor.
Yes circumstances are important. If for instance a child grows up in an environment that lacks any kind of stimulation in the way of books, toys, conversation this will affect the child's development of knowledge, social interactions and understanding of the world in the future. At other times opportunities come people's way to give them a chance to do something they'd never have thought of doing themselves and they discover they have a skill or talent that might never have been realised afterwards.
But it is also personality, relationships, genetic influences and so many other combination of factors that combine to have an affect on our thoughts, attitude, behaviour and life in general.

Hi, Rena:
Indeed you are correct. However, you are still in control of the situation. If indeed you are a victim of the circumstance, you still have the benefit of the doubt to prove to yourself and to others that you can do it. If not for the circumstances that affected your life, you might as well be in a better place. This moreover is not forever binding upon the life of a person for it is still you who will decide what your life will be in finality.
Nice question. Thanks and have a great day!

Hi Rena, I agree circumstances can effect people`s lives in many ways. For good or bad. These emotions can be over powering at times,Even delusional in a sense. On the grand scale of things our lives and destinies are mapped out for us in a way,From a higher power. The most important thing is to learn from our mistakes and learn the lessons in life ,Which will reflect on the overall outcome of eternal knowledge. It is earthbound trials we go through. The spiritual is untouched and free.

Understanding why circumstances are presented is an important factor. Often, we don't recognise our part in the process of learning. Why is one seemingly 'gifted' while another is disadvantaged? There are conclusions that can be reached if you continue to seek the answers. Eventually, perseverance affords understanding.

You are correct. Circumstances or our environment present us with challenges of all sorts. It is our selection of choice which determines the result.
This result does not necessarily effect the physical outcome. It can, instead, be an internal influence. Our reactions are ultimately the choices we make.

I agree. In the same circumstances two people can make very different choices. I think choosing honesty and integrity makes one noble in any circumstance.
