I'm looking for an RPG for the playstation 2 that's pretty non-linear, where you can choose most of the decisions that go on in the RPG. One with multiple endings or just a highly replayable RPG in general. Some RPGs I've enjoyed include Valkyrie Profile, the Tales Series, and I'm hoping to get my hands on Growlanser: Heritage of War. I've already played Final Fantasy, so not that.... And before I forget, something with a bit of a relationship system would be nice, like the one in Tales of Symphonia where things you say/do affect what people think about you.

Thanks in advance. <3

Dragon Quest 8 is a fun turn-based RPG that is fairly nonlinear, and it has 2 different endings. It's made by Square-Enix (Final Fantasy creators) and Level-5. This game has beautiful cel-shaded graphics; a good and sometimes humorous storyline; great characters; a cool invention system for weapons, armor, and items using an "alchemy pot"; and a lot of gameplay with 2 separate endings and the "Dragovian Trials" for many hours of fun. I highly recommend this game, it's one of the best RPGs I've ever played. Here is an IGN review of the game (they gave it a 9/10):

And here is a really good walkthrough to help you if you ever get stuck, or want one of the alchemy pot recipes:

This is a great game, I have no doubt you will enjoy it.
