I don't understand, why are we still there? We got Sadam.

Taking out Saddam wasn't the only thing to be done. Once he was out of power we knew they'd still be unrest in that region. Iraq would be at risk from neighboring countries whose dictators are just as bad as Saddam was. Iraq needs to be able to stand by themselves and the people need to feel they can walk the streets without fear of death. The children should be able to live their lives in peace. I don't know if that will ever happen, but at least we are trying to make it happen.

money. what the news and the gov will never tell you is half of the companies over there are either utlity companies trying to set up infrustructures so they can rip off the iraqis one day. or they are weapons companies who are there testing the weapons for the u.s. the rest are there to protect the oil companies.

many don't know that the reason we haven't pulled out yet is because the gov and the iraqi gov are trying to come to an agreement on how to share the oil. true story. AND THAT'S THE ONLY REASON because the iraqi's don't want to hand that resource over to us..and the usa is pissed about this because they put in place the guys who are making this choice. see? the usa is feeling like it was back stabbed by the folks it put in power.

this often isn't reported in the news or when it is..its downplayed..why? becasue most of the people in the news have STOCKS or INVEST in utlities and oil..so they stand to lose money.

which leds me to this point that i've been saying for years. NO POLITICAN SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO OWN ANYTHING OTHER THAN THEIR HOME AND CLOTHES ETC. .NOOOO STOCK WHAT SO EVER. then you'd have people joining the gov FOR THE PEOPLE not for special interest groups.

I don't want to hear this is a free market people can do as they want..let's be real..its not a free market. the day bush vetoed the bill to allow YOU to buy drugs online CHEAPER he killed free market right there...ironic enough the next day the drug companies raised many drug prices..almost saying to the public-oh you trying to not pay my prices? okay then...now i'll show you just how much power we really have

its sick and as long as people keep turing a blind eye to it and saying...oh well that's just the way it is..then THAT'S THE WAY IT WILL ALWAYS BE.

That was only part of the plan. we need to eliminate as much of the Al Quida groups and extremists as we can. that way they will not pose as great a threat later on. plus we need to help establish a gov. over there so they can take care of the problem and not us all the time.

Because we are mired in something that will be very hard to pull back from.Stay put = 10s of thousands more deaths.
