It isn't based in WW2, but any novels from the Scarecrow series by Matthew Reilly would suite you. Soldier Boys is a really good WW2 novel that focuses on the alternate lives of a US Farmboy that joins the Paratroopers and a German teen that is a follower of Hitler and joins the German Army and how their paths cross on the battlefield.
