a coworker of mine, recently showed me and another coworker some papers that said she had diplomatic immunity...she was born in the united states, says that both her parents were too and neither worked for the government...she told me anyone can do it...she has a identification, license plate and papers that say she does not have to pay taxes, can not be charged with any crime...she said that she is a diplomatic agent... is that possilbe

Only as a Foreign Service officer with diplomatic credentials...otherwise-

Also if charged with a crime, FSO's can be declared Persona Non Grata ''unwelcome person'' and deported back to their home country-

I am not sure what she means by 'diplomatic agent', but yes, under certain VERY RESTRICTED conditions, an american citizen, in this country, could qualify; BUT since she is your 'co-worker', unless you work in a very high position in a foreign embassy, it is NOT likely.

ALSO, diplomatic immunity does NOT exempt you from paying taxes on money earned in this country.

No..don't believe what anyone can print out on line. There is no such thing as a Diplomatic Agent. Stay away from her she is delusional. Contact the state department and report her.

Sounds like she got this stuff from one of those tax evader militia groups who claim to be sovereign and not subject to our laws.

No, from what you said, she does not have diplomatic immunity.

She will be convinced of this at her federal trial for tax evasion.
