I don;t see things this way....mother used to say:

"While your safe in your house, someone is out there now, at this moment in dire danger." Someone is being killed or raped or murdered...right now.

Drunks are driving in the streets, people are being cheated on...and someone right now is crying for being hurt so bad by their significant other.

I feel safe in my four walls....I feel just fine, like I'm not crying or not hurting or needing for anything. Nice and safe...with cookies in the oven baking.

I go to the big wooden creation implanted in one of the walls, turn a metal cylinder-like object which i believe to be known as a "doorknob," and gallop through the air that is freedom.
