...well, I was filling in cracks, got the stuff ALL OVER my fingers and hands...it dried....now, I can't get the stuff off. I've been pulling pieces of it off...with my skin....I've tried soaking and scrubbing in hot/soapy water, cold/soapy water, paint thinner, mineral spirits, goo gone stuff, acetone finger nail polish etc....does anyone have any other ideas????? I know it will eventually wear off, but, that will take weeks or longer, I don't have the long!!!!

it's not going to take weeks, layers of skin fall off your skin eveyday so maybe like 2-3 days...and if you tried all that and nothing happened then i don't think anything else will help...
OH! and maybe you should call the 1-800 number on the can and ask the company ;D hope you get that stuff off.

I would have guessed the acetone would have done it.

My next guess would be this stuff called Gojo orange hand cleaner. Its usually in the automotive department at places like wal-mart. It has both orange oil and really gritty pumace (sp?). You'll need to rub for a while to get it off but it will eventually get it all off.

Be sure to get some good lotion on your hands soon afterward, you're hands will have taken a real beating after all the things you have put them through.

Good Luck!

Acetone (Finger nail polish remover) is the only way to get Great stuff off off your hands. Nothing else will work, Not even WD-40.
