Tidying my bedroom..... UUURGGGH!
Oddly enough, I don't mind tidying the kitchen/other rooms (Even the loo's not that bad)... I guess it's because the kitchen and the bathroom NEED tyding for hygiene reasons whereas the bedroom technically doesn't (IMO)

Bro you need to clean your room. - I'm a girl.
How else will you know if the cats barfed in the corner - I don't have a cat.
or the mice are building a little fort inside your undies draw. - or mice.
How will you know if your little brothers been flogging your smokes - I don't smoke and my bro's older than me
or your Dad has rummaged through your porno stash. - He has plenty of his own.
Plus if you do a real good job then you may well earn yourself your pocket money this week. - Bit old for that... I'm 20!
Now get started and stop whining! - I know, I know. I'll do it some time this week.

Well, actually your bedroom does need cleaning. I heard on TV last night that in 10 years your mattress, double it's weight because of dust mites. UGH, think about that one.

I will clean every room but my bedroom! I mean, I will vacuum and stuff to be sure its not gross once in awhile, but it is rarely rarely tidy. I think because it s my one private place that I can say, "screw it, there are better things to do with my life than clean." And even if I can't find anything better to do than clean, well, then its the one place I could mope in private too! lol. Mostly, I hate to put my clothes "away" -whether clean or dirty....quirky? yes.

It may be because your bedroom is not organised. Perhaps you don't have enough drawer or wardrobe space. Or are you perhaps just lazy :) lol. If it's your routine, tell yourself "NEVER PUT DOWN, PUT AWAY" so that everything goes into it's place and never, never on the floor or on a bedside table. First, you are going to have to get your cupboards organised and then be strict with yourself. You'll see how it lifts your mood!!!

Periodic cleaning is OK but I agree with you - it's a place to "live in"
