when someone tell you to grow some balls??? i dont get what they mean

They mean for you to show some courage and do what you know should be done, but you are too timid to do. It's a guy thing. If you don't have the balls to do something, we tell you to grow a pair.

you take small little balls (you can get them at wal-mart) and you plant them in your garden. About 6-9 weeks later you will grow a BIG ball tree and have grown balls............

No seriously, it means to toughen up and stand up for what you believe. Don't back down!! It is a really strange use of words because the people who actually, physically have balls usually never are really tough - LOL!!! Sorry guys!!

When someone says to "grow some balls," they are basically telling you to become more mature and courageous. Meaning, that they think you need to be braver than you currently are.
