My company is relocating me to Colorado and my partner and I are planning to live in the Colorado Springs area. I can't imagine our kids will be the only ones attending school with two moms... will they?

Colorado Springs is a very conservative town. It has a lot of military people who are not progressive. Additionally, it is home of Focus on the Family and other evangelical christian right organizations that oppose gay marriage for no rational reason.

Overall, the actual City of Denver and Boulder are the most liberal and progressive cities in Colorado. I'm sure your kids will do fine in CO Springs. However, your family may feel more welcome in Denver or Boulder.

There are many gay and lesbian people in CO. Where they might be living, who knows; never cared to ask; to each their own.
