Sell yourself. Advertise yourself. Get known. Ask around talent agencies. At least get off yahoo answers and go onto google or something and search talent agencies. Or even better, get off the computer and look for some yellow pages or something. If you like theater, find a theater school. Being rich is not an expectation to be an actress.

our other friends are a bit over-eager. the very first step you have to accomplish is to get your familiy (parents) to agree that you should try to become an actress. You cannot sign contracts or join and agency until you are 18 so mom and dad have to do it for you. Then be in all the school and church and community plays you can, gaining all the experience you can. Then get a mentor to protect you from scams and to help you move your career forward. That's what I do , I mentor actors for free. for more info, read my profile and write to me at my aol address

Study acting. Find a reputable acting class in your area and enroll in it. If you are of university age, find a school that has an acting program.

Learn, learn, learn.

Study dance, voice, movement, improvisation.

Study grammar and English. Language is a very important part of acting.

Being an actor is a lot of work. Most of the work is finding work, the rest of the work is doing work.

Feel free to e-mail me with any specific questions I might be able to help you with.
