Very few real companies are going to hire a stranger to do work for them with no training or supervision. Most people who work from home either work for themselves, or have worked for a company for many years, and then had a personal situation arise that caused them to need to work from home. If they were trusted long-term employees, and if their jobs could be done remotely, the companies made accommodations.
If you want to earn money, you will have to get a real job. You can't earn a living answering surveys (which really just collect info on you!) on the Internet. No company is going to pay good money for that when they can simply provide a survey link on their receipts and get ACTUAL CUSTOMERS to tell them what they thought of their services or products (for free!).

If you are looking for an online job that you get paid hourly try babytobee.com. Its actually morex marketing. You are required to pay for a background check and need to buy a USB headset if you don't already have one. It is a independent contractor job so they don't withhold taxes, but I only have to work 15 hrs a week whenever I want (or should I say can) and get paid every Friday by direct deposit. The hours you can work are between 9am to 12am EST. They are really nice people to work for and the first internet job I ever had. So if you can afford the $25 background check and the headset check it out.

There are many opportunities of working at home and earning through internet. If you wish to learn earning through internet while working at home, feel free to add me as your contact at yahoo answers and at 360 also. You will learn a lot. It is against yahoo answers guidelines to provide referral links here at YA. Most of the genuine earning opportunities on the net are free and they don't ask for any money to be paid for that.

Gosh, if u find one let me know, i have been ripped of by a couple of them. I know that someone will will respond to you on here with Melaleuca. They call it Mom execs, Dad execs and other names, FABULOUS products, but you will NEVER make any money at it. The only one's getting rich with that one is the founders. I was in it for 1 year and worked my butt off all day 6 days a week, my biggest check was my 1st one for $40.00 after that was about $10.00 a month and I had to spend $45.00-$60.00 a month just to stay active, so good luck, but beware.

There are MILLIONS of people that money money working at home. Few of them have 'jobs' and NONE got started from anything on-line. MOST run their own business, which they founded, form their home.

If you look on craigslist.org (go to the site for your city) you might be able to find a few work from home jobs (under "etc. jobs" or "gigs"). These will be few and far between, but occasionally you may be able to find a job doing desktop publishing, copywriting, typing, etc.
