at the homecoming we were suppost help work the snakc bar for 40 minutes . i was 5 minutes late and she got so pissed at me and went to some people and told them all this crap and its the next day and she is still mad
shes making the biggest deal ever about me being 5 minutes late

no way is that right! your friend is probably looking for an excuse to start the drama. (i have 2 "friends" who do this all the time) 5 minutes late is no excuse to start talking trash about someone! you didn't do anything wrong. talk to her and say "I think you are making too big of a deal out of this. 5 minutes late is no big deal. also, i want you to stop spreadin rumors about me"

Sounds as if she is a perfectionist and she expects everyone to be like her. 5 minutes late ruin her well laid plans. It upsets her because things are not going smoothly. Be patient with her. She has to learn to be prepared for unforseen events to happen. And you need to learn to be on time or even a little early!

Obviously there is a bigger issue here with your friend. It couldn't really be the 5 minutes, it must be that it triggerd in her a feeling that you don't care about her or are inconsiderate of her feelings, etc. Her reaction seems way out of line for the situation. She must have lots of issues.

When you start working and people are late and you have to do extra work to cover for them, you'll be upset too. It may not be a big deal to you but it is to her. Apologize. That's all you can do. Hopefully she'll get over it.

Something else is wrong or there is something you are not telling us......... she shouldnt be that upset if you were only 5 minutes late...... did you help work after you got there??? you need to talk to her..........ask her what is wrong if you are giving us the whole story

no that sounds very childish. maybe she was in a bad mood and took it out on you using a lame excuse. try to talk to her and let her know you are hurt that she is talking about you and ask her if that is the real reason she is mad at you.

you just have to ignore it or tell her to chill out and that it was only 5 minutes. no big!!
