how the internet can be misused by school students and suggest ways to overcome the problem

The computer guy at my school put something in the computers to block us from going to places like You Tube, or E-Bay, or anything other than educational sites. I hope this helps you out! :)

Let's not blame the Internet. It's the miracle of modern technology. Students have always tended to misuse learning tools, reading the summaries of books rather than the books itself, having the class "nerd" do their homework, or getting parents to do the work for them. The Internet hasn't changed this. What the Internet has done is allow people of all walks of life to obtain complete and instantaneous information and to communicate where communication was impossible or cumbersome before. I compare it to fire v electricity; for millions of years humans lived with fire for light and warmth. Now, when we have a blackout for an hour, we're in a panic. It's the same with the Internet. Without communication, we would be in deep trouble, to put it politely.
