In my house hold we have a Glasgow Rangers supporter married to a Glasgow Celtic supporter.
We have (both of us) people who we have grown up with and in one instance a family member who will not talk to anything to do with us.
It's o.k. to detest another team (and trust me we hate each others) but when supporters take it to the extremes it seems ridiculous.

Detest is not a word I would choose. I'm a Spurs fan and I'm never going to change. If you go looking for trouble, then you'll find it. I'll always shout myself hoarse at a game, and boo the opposition, but it's NEVER directed at the fans, only at the action on the pitch. Afterwards, especially on the tube in London, it's cool to find supporters who have been to other games and have a chat, swap programmes etc.

Finally, Man Utd v Bayern Munich European Cup Final. Who were you cheering for, laughing at?

Let's face it. We're always "up for it" when our next game's against Man Utd. And most of the comments stem from being jealous of their success.

Yes. As they say, there's a fine line between love and hate.
I see my love of Everton as Yin and my hatred of Liverpool as Yang. It's what makes me who I am.

No the real answer to really enjoying football is to LOVE every team.. I love Liverpool, Everton, Wigan, Chelsea, West Ham..in fact every team in every league.. and the reason I enjoy football so much is half of my teams win every week.. you guys must really hate football when Man Utd win all the time

No not really. There is no team/club that I hate more than I love my own. They are where my energy goes. Though that doesn't mean that certain results don't bring a huge smile to my face!
