Do you wish you could apologize to the other person involved?
If so, what was it?

I did. It was about 25 years ago. I was in 4th grade, and I let the boy across the street, who was in 5th grade, ride my bike to school. He said it got stolen, but I think he probably sold it. I told my mom that I didn't say he could ride it, because I thought I might get in trouble, and his mom bought me a new one. I feel bad about lying and getting him in trouble, and for his mom having to buy me a new one.

Although, if he did sell it, I wouldn't feel bad. He would deserve what he got.

Also, it was more like 35 years ago. I did the math wrong.

I lied about my entire identity, and eventually had to come clean. Everything's ok. Not perfect, but we're building on it. It really *is* better to always be honest. Sadly, I have had to learn this myself.

Hahaha yeah, I lied that I went to Woodstock '94 in middle school (that makes me 26) because I had a t-shirt, just so the cool kids would like me. Did I feel guilty about it? Sort of... it didn't get me a ton of friends or anything, but felt cool.

In third grade, I was going to lunch but then I remembered I had brought my lunch but forgot it, so I ran back to the class to get it, but dropped a cheeto by the door, I didn't want to be late so I kept going.
When the class came back, we all sat down and the teacher was like who's cheeto is this? And I didn't fess up. Then this kid came in late and stepped on the cheeto and the teacher yelled at him to clean it up.

No.

Really? Well you should've spoke up and told the truth. Your lucky that that boy didn't come back and beat you up, like really, 'cause they are some mean boys out there that would've done that.

I've told lies that led to big trouble & those are the ones-I try not to lie unless it's personal things they don't need to know.

Yes, I wish I could take it all back. I used to lie to my girlfriend about cheating on her. She was a good woman and I f*cked it all off.

No, I'm always brutally honest if that's what's necessary. My mommy taught me to never lie.
