I'm still not sold on the Longhorns quarterback Colt Mccoy. The guy can throw, but he also makes questionable decisions on where to throw the football to.

I watched him and the Longhorns against Kansas today and thought some of his throws were horrible, even though he was under pressure some of the time.

I think there was too much pressure on him from the word go. Last year, he was new and took the place of Vince Young. Everyone was expecting him to be as good as his predecessor if not better....which is a LOT to ask.
Having said that, anytime he made (makes) a mistake, people act like it's the end of the world, but in reality, he's just playing on his own level; a level which might not be all that great.
For a team to be ranked #7, you cannot just throw 4 picks and expect to win. He is easily rattled and if he is repeatedly under pressure, his performance is less and less accurate.
He's getting a bad wrap, but that tends to happen when you go to a huge football school

I honestly think he can make a pretty good quarterback only if he didnt crumble under pressure and just knew how to throw the ball because right know he's just foucused on making the big play and being like Vince Young right know hes just like the Jason Campbell but hopefully he can stay foucused and become a fine young quarterback before the seasons over.

The truth is, all quarterbacks that play in Hawaii have great numbers. It's obviously more of the system than the quarterback.

Remember, Timmy Chang was there a few years ago, and his stats were just as impressive.

Agreed. He has some learning to do with the fact that he is still only a sophmore. He'll get better.
