Your question is too vague and unanswerable for most people. Maine is a big state (East wise). What section of the state are you talking about?
If you get a little more specific, IE: How much are apartment rentals in Bangor Maine
and how much can expect to make doing (?) job....A gallon of gas is about $2.75 a gallon right now and a gallon of milk is about

If I had mose specifics I could answer better. Portland dwellers make more than Bangor. But BAngor is a bit heaper to live than Portland, mortgage and rent wise anyhow.
