with no outside contact, would you go stir crazy or enjoy the peace/solitude? What would you do to keep yourself occupied?

Oh, that would be heaven. I'd soak in the hot tub, do some tanning, eat all day (sandwiches of course) and put a buncha beers on ice! I'd unplug the house phone, turn off my cell and lock all the doors. I'd read, play scrabble online and lounge like a lizard!!!!!

I have frequently spent more time than that alone,both in the wilderness and laid up when I was single with a broken ankle. No,it did not particularly bother me. I enjoyed the time for free-form thinking but I was glad to rejoin my species. At home I read and watched movies on VHS and wrote tons of poetry,for the most part rather morbid as I recall,since a 20-year-old can be very melodramatic about a broken ankle,particularly if that's the worst thing he's ever suffered. In the woods I did what you'd expect: fishing,exploring,etc.

OMG I'd go crazy! Kind of like I did today! I didn't have any plans today so I pretty much just lounged around inside all day. I usually keep muself occupied by playing on the computer, or having a movie marathon.

Well, after a complete meltdown, I'd go to a corner, get in the fetal position, and rock myself to sleep...and maybe eat some cheetos...

This sounds like my weekends. I'm a male Cancer and that is one reason why I'm a hermit. I like to stay inside a shell.

That depends. Are my kids with me? If they're not then I'd paint, or sculpt, or bake, or do SOMETHING I love to do but can't because they're here all the time.

im sure i wouldnt go crazy. i would probably try to sleep through most of it. if i wasnt tired i would run around to make myself sleepy.
