I need info that is accurate, recent, and comprehensive. It would be nice if I could get a daily chart showing temperature, precipitation, and other info for the past two weeks. It can't just all disappear, all the recorded data has to go somewhere!

Try using your local national weather service website. Go here and click on your local office:

www.srh.noaa.gov

Under the climate data...you should be able to find what you need.

I live in Los Angeles...here is some info from my weather diary (note that all observations are in the morning around 8):
For the past week (2 week s a bit to much):
Sep 22: At 8:41, Wind was calm, barometer 1011 mb steady, rh 79%, 24 precipitation 0.68, temp 61.1 f, stratus, h68.5, l59.7

Actually that's a bit too much...i guess you wil have to look at weather archives...i'm too lazy to copy everything from my *handwritten* weather diary...

http://www.weather.gov/climate/index.php? has all the weather information you need for the state you are in. You can go back up to 4 years if you want. They have it all stored in their computers and online. On the page marked OBSERVED WEATHER REPORTS click on the section marked CF6, then search for the city then the month you are looking for, then click GO, a seperate screen will appear with your information.
