2 years ago i was a complete scumbag. me and my friends used to bully goths and nerds. since last year i have turned around completely.
i'm all goth like now.

i hang around with a completely differant gang of people compared to my old friends. last week me and my friends were going to a gig and we saw my old friends by the bus i was going on so i went up and said hi. they went physco and started beating the crap out of me and calling me goth for no reason. they stole my money and my phone.

i think that is a complete twist because after that i thought about how is used to do **** like that. mostly about how much i changed.

did anyone elses life turn arounf like this?

I wouldn't say that I've become what I hate necesarily, but some of my equality beliefs that I didn't have at one time did turn around on me.

-I used to hate fat people when I was much younger. I was chubby for a small window of time in puberty, but I filled out. In the process, however, I ended up going through a period where I did hate my body. Not that every fat person hates their body, but that's what society tried to perpetuate anyway... But now I accept everyone regardless of size.

- I used to hate gay people too. No relation here though: I'm straight, but high school opened me up. I used to hang with the crowd that used to hate them, but I had a lot of gay/bi male and female friends, and they were good people. That opened me up to accepting them.

Religion- I've always been Christian, but puberty struck with even more hatred: I used to really hate atheists. I ended up becoming friends with some that ended up not being bad people, and while I didn't turn away from my religion, I began to realize why some of them really hated Christians. Because of this, I sometimes disagree with some of the concepts that society would think I would agree with based on my religion. I don't get along much with Christians that want to impose things that they deem "Moral," because that usually involves rights being taken away: I can't stand for that.

I once made fun of people with bad teeth & I ended up having mine knocked out & living with the leftovers. I now have a better understanding of why people choose not to smile with a mouth full of broken & rotted teeth! People judge you way too harsly for it. It's just a part of life to learn things that you once could not or did not understand! That's why they say that "experience is the best teacher"! You gotta live it to give it!

Sounds like some great friends you had there. Yeah I can't say that's ever happened to me, my best friend in high school is still my best friend now.
