Hey if you've been together that long, he might have forgotten. As long as he don't forget the birthday!! Dont be too hard on your partner, it's way more things to worry about in a relationship than that.

I wouldn't see it as a big deal. Men in general don't pay attention to those things, and even as a woman I am guilty also. I don't remember at the moment what color my mom's eyes are. Hazel I think. I hope that is the most inconsiderate thing he has done in 25 years. If so, you have a good guy there.

Ummm.. okay well.. I guess I have no clue because I cannot imagine caring about that..... Lets just say if he is there after 25 years he sees something much more important in you.... If YOU love HIM tell him what color your eyes are and save him from making the mistake a second time... and MOVE ON to more important matters......

I'd assume that he was a man. Because that's just indicative of how a man's brain works. They're conditioned to be super heros and your protector. Paying attention to detail just isn't something they often do. Keeping track of such details isn't exactly Jedi behavior, is it? Don't let it bother you. Look at all the things he HAS DONE. Men are wired to be doers more than anything.

I would just tell him. If it has not come up in 25 years, then it is not all that important to you.
I am sure he has looked you in the eyes in all of this time or you would have noticed long before now.

you need to grow up and find something to do with your free time. so what he doesnt remember your color its been 25 yrs and he probably doesnt and wont remember a lot more things about you so what. is he cheating, lying, drinking, gambling if not thank the stars above. these are the things that are problems and one should worry about not the colors of one eyes. grow up and get a life. That is ridiculous. He obviously hasn't been paying attention to you for the pas 25 years however that's a man for you so what can you expect??? Basically nothing, men are total morons.

Been married 20 years, the first two times I asked him he said blue.
They are hazel green, his are blue. But I guess hat is what happens when you can't see past your own nose.
In my case it is a reflection of him not paying much attention to me. Its all about him.

Men are idiots, my husband didn't realize I had blue eyes for 2 years! Men don't pay attention to these small details because they have smaller brains then we do. ; )

i would be crushed...and to the person above me not all men are idiots..saying that makes u ignorant. im very big into detail..i was once engaged, after her and i broke up we very rarely hung out, since we had similar friends...she one day told me she didnt notice my eyes are hazel...that hurts more then the "oh i forgot we had a date"
