Rotting flesh, and then ultimately dust. Back to the Earth.

If you are smart enough to get a wood coffin, eventually it will return to the earth. Ultimately, only the bones will remain for some time - the rest will go to feed the earth.

Some people get lead-lined coffins, because they can't stand the thought of their flesh being "eaten", but in fact lead-lined coffins create an anaerobic (non-air) environment, and anaerobic bacteria thrive and will turn your flesh to slush.

Personally I'd rather be cremated, but if I must be buried, I'd prefer a simple box that will deteriorate quickly and let me sustain the ecosystem just that much more.
