cuz it only charges i go to my madia player and go to sync and it wont do

no its not itunes it is windows media player

Are you sure you have the songs downloaded? Like, from a CD or from them already having been downloaded from somewhere? Because just saving a song won't do it. You may be able to listen to it on your computer, but since it hasn't been downloaded, there will be nothing to put on your iPod.

I suggest using iTunes - while it's annoying, at least you know what to do and if something goes wrong, there are plenty of people who know how to correct it.

Edit: Your iPod will charge regardless if you have a media player open - it charges as long as your computer is on. It's the synching songs that you have a problem with.

You need to instal iTunes. Just go to the iTunes website and you can download it there. iTunes is the only media player that works with iPods.
