i love all the seasons but what excites me most is when they change and you get the first smell of the new season. autumn has a cool, earthy smell.

The changing of the leafs and the crisp air in the morning. The smell of someones fireplace when I go outside, the warmth of the house when cooking potato soup or veg. soup. The Thanksgiving meal smells and then the tastes. Fall is my very favorite time of year. Thanks for the reminders.

The way the sky has a beautiful greyish-yellow stillness to it ...and the way the sunset casts a surreal, yellow glow over everything like maple syrup :)

The way the leaves change, and the fun part is when you get all the leaves in a pile and make a "falling" angel.
