now when air is on the engine sounds like its roaring louder then normal.

That sounds like you have a bad clutch fan. Get your engine up to operating temperature and shut it off. Grab a fan blade and spin it. This is the fan on the front of your engine. If it spins freely, the fan clutch is bad. It should have some drag, and not even make a full revolution, even with considerable force in trying to spin it. When these go bad, they make a roaring noise, which comes down slowly, and when you give it gas or rev it, it roars again.

If this happens at idle it is normal. when the a/c is on it increases the idle speed and also turns on the cooling fan under the hood.

You are hearing the condenser fan running it does make a lot of noise.

Probably the new fan clutch working properly.
