Look I don't like Michigan but I think they have proven those first two games were flukes. Let them back in the top 25.
I'm going to laugh like hell when the beat Ohio St, because they will.

No way. Northwestern is hardly a national title contender, and Michigan has 2 losses, one of them to a school in a lower division. If you put Michigan in the top 25, they would be the only ranked school with 2 losses, and they would ALSO be the only ranked school with a loss to a division 1-AA team.
Michigan should not be in the top 25, at least not until more ranked teams have 2 losses.

Teams can improve over the course of the season, but Im not convinced that the wolverines deserve to be back in the top 25. While the offense and defense have both improved, they dont show consistency yet. And the field goal team is atrocious! Maybe another victory or two and I'll think so.....

I dont think they should because they beat crappy teams (winless Notre Dame, crappy Northwestern, and an over-ranked Penn St) BUT because of all the upsets they may manage to slip in somewhere between 20-25

Michigan cannot be back in the top-25, unless App St is ranked ahead of them. THEY LOST TO APP ST AND OREGON BACK-TO-BACK! Give it up, the season is over. Even if you win the Big Ten, you don't deserve respect after the way the season began! There are plenty of teams in the other conferences who haven't lost two games, let alone losing one to a Div-1AA team (Sub-prime mortgage conference, or whatever the hell they're called now). Unless all those teams are ranked ahead of Michigan, you can't rank Michigan. Maybe if they had beat a big opponent, they might get ranked, not until then!

I hope not. They BARELY beat the Wildcats. Most of the effort to win (points included) came in the 4th quarter.
If the offense would have had their act together, they could have scored at least two more times on the Wolverines.
They don't deserve to be in the top 25 playing like that. The win was not all that convincing to me.

it could be interesting depending on how low ranked top 25 teams do. i wouldnt count on it just because northwestern isnt that good, but at the same time i would not be surprised at all.

Yes, but as for the national championship and a BSC bowl, no. Remember they still have to play Ohio State. I think they will still go to a bowl and may get ranked in the Top 25, but that still won't be good enough for their fans and Lloyd Carr.

With all these other team's losses they MIGHT crack the top 25, but don't expect them to be too high. Somewhere between 20-25 at best would be my guess.

It's definitely possible with all the losses in the top 25.
