I turned in a paper on a contversal action taken. I was asked according to the author why should >>>>>>s actions be considered as discrimitory. i gave my answer to the question and she marked it incorrect and wrote in red ink her opinion and didnt grade the quesions grammar . my opinion (that was asked) she graded her opinion right and mine as incorrect. it doesnt bother the fact that the grade was passing it bothers me because i feel she holds a grudge when i enter the room now THis leads me to my question should i Care and continue to do homework for her and pass knowing that her opinion gives me a grade instead if i answered the question correctly and honestly

i had a teacher like that last year,
i wrote a paper on a personal opinion,
and she didn't agree,
so she gave me a failing grade (like a 15%, when my average in that subject was a 93%)
i showed my parents,
and they said if i was upset,
i should talk to her.

when i went to talk to her,
like a mature student,
she got upset that i was disagreeing with not only her grading,
but her opinion as well,
so she took my sheet and drew huge x's in green pen all over.

i just stood there and starred at her,
than got my stuff and left.

lucky me,
i got the same teacher this year :|

my suggestion is,
do what you have to do to pass.

it's important to pick and choose your battles,
because sometimes,
you just can't win.

good luck.

As lang as there are going to be bigoted, one-sided teachers, before tests you have to figure out what they want, or look for, and satisfy them and be happy knowwing at least 50% of the time, you may have one that agrees with you

I'd tell another teacher or something about it. But first I'd ask other students who had similar opinions as you what they got on the assignment. That way, you know if it really was your opinion or not.

She wasn't asking for your opinion. She was asking why the author thought someone's actions were discriminatory. You didn't answer the question.

even if your teacher is like that, don't hold it against yourself because that is what you will be doing, harming yourself and impeding yourself from many future opportunities.
