the middle position is bisexual - you can 'hear' the attraction of both guys and girls equally
move all the way to one side = 100% heterosexual
move all the way to another = 100% homosexual
but at ALL points in between you are a combination of homosexual and heterosexual
for example, i am mostly heterosexual, but i am a little bit homosexual because i can see why girls fancy some guys
this doesnt mean i want to have sex with these guys. it just means i have enough 'homosexual' in me to see that they are attractive to girls
if everyone understood this the world would be a much less violent, much more fun place, as anyone who has been to the gay village in manchester will tell you
of course, you can move along this scale as you grow older
if you dont believe me then what makes many 'mostly heterosexual' girls (and a few guys) have a gay experience?

It's because religious people think the WMP balance control should be in the middle, but consider bisexual promiscuity appalling.
You describe yourself as being at the 90% straight 10% gay setting, and yet somehow all the sound is still comming out of the straight speaker.
I know our educational system isn't what it should be, but how can anyone who's passed biology think sexual orientation is equivalent to stero balance?
The primary goal of life is to reproduce. From this view, Hetrosexuality is effecient, Bisexuality is inefficient but functional, and Homosexuality is genetic sucide.
Of course gays are less violent. Half of what straight men fight for is the future of their children, and the other half is to impress the future mother of their children.
Many young women experiment with each other, because it allows them to learn and enjoy sexuality without the risk/responsibility of pregnancy.
Few men do this because they do not have the risk of pregnancy, and they see the goal of manhood as the ability to talk attractive women into having sex with them.
I respectfully submit the analogy is flawed.
Keep the balence control in the middle.
And if fate has given you the option to avoid becoming an AIDS vectror, take it.

You are so right! I am one who has purposefully moved up and down the scale.I was not BORN gay,it is a choice I have made after 14 years of being with my X who is female.Would you agree that most people are born straight until environment and other factors influence instinctive behaviors to change? The same principle you have asserted can be applied to many aspects of life. For example let's take criminals. They are not born criminals. There were factors in their lives that have influenced them to CHOOSE to commit crimes.Just as the guys and girls experiment, the criminal does too.And they can choose to raise or lower that level.Just as a criminal can choose to be a good citizen,I can choose who I prefer sexually. That scale applies to religion too.And there are varying degrees of radicalism.Who a person wishes to have sex with is nobody's business and is a private thing. Not one person on this planet is pure enough to cast stones. You know?Your analogy is superb.Kudo's to you!Now if the haters in this world will just listen and open their minds, the world will be much better off.I wouldnt hold my breath on that though.Your perspicacity is edifying Dude.Excellent question!
Hugs!!!

I'm not religious but that's a fundamentalist thing rather than a religious thing. Fundamentalists don't recognize it because it challenges a tiny piece of their precious doctrine. They think if it's not 100% true it's false. So they cling to it no matter what.
Also some of them are worried they might be gay, of course.
Have a star anyway.

I'd say it's more like the Cartesian plane myself, because some people, gay or straight, male or female, like to have the male role in a relationship, and others like to have the female role.

That's a really good analogy, and you're so right, it can change as you grow and get to know different parts of yourself.
And I love that people can have enough homosexual in them to see the attraction, etc.
I agree with you, have a star.

That's a really good point. I wish more people could think like that. Maybe then the world would be an easier place to live in.

lol i dont get it
just kiding i like ur analogy.
religious people - i ignore them as im not religious and bored of their "anti-family!" propaganda. they dont even know theyre doing it, and how messed up their attitudes can be and how uninformed. i just concern me with the attitudes of those that matter to me and ignore the rest.
