Despite what the alarmists in the media tried to show, there was no relation to Columbine and video games, let alone Doom. First of all, Doom was already 7 years old when Columbine occurred - that's ancient for a video game. Second, Harris and Klebold didn't really play any video games - not even Doom. They were certainly disturbed but you can't blame their actions on video games. Otherwise, we would have been having a "Columbine" type event every day for nearly the past 30 years.

Well I know a little about it because I have read the books "Rachels Tears" and "She Said Yes." Those books are about 2 victims, Rachel Joy Scott (the first victim) and Cassie Bernall (another victim). Both were killed for believing in God. It didnt really affect me since I was very young and I didnt know about it. But once I heard about it in school like 2 years ago it really affected me. I thought about why the gunmen had done such a horrible thing. During the massacre the gunmen (Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold) were questioned by victims who were injured why they did it. They said "oh just killing people" and were heard saying stuff like "this is awesome we have been waiting our whole lives to do this!" They killed 13 people then later took their own lives. After the massacre students hadnt returned to school for sometime. All this happened April 20th, 1999.
