False. Just because it's not visible doesn't mean it doesn't exist. It would be just as easy to say there are no backbones in Washington D.C. OK, bad example

There is a passage from the bible that is considered so important it is read on Yom Kippur afternoon. That is the holiest day for Judaism. In that passage it discusses g-d's prohibition in having sexual relations with primarily female family members or closely related individuals such as brother and sister.
It also says quite clearly that sexual relations are PROHIBITED by two males lying together. It goes on to say don't be like the people that I helped you conquer such as the Caanites or the Egyptians. Also Egypt was considered a very hedonistic society where anything was permitted.
To answer your question; if the bible mentions a prohibition of homosexual relations and is read on the most important Jewish Holiday of the year, then it is a serious violation of G-ds law. Also it means as far as your question is concerned that it has been going on for thousands of years because G-d admitted it was done and instructed the Hebrew NOT to do it.
In Iran if someone is caught in a homosexual relationship then that person will probably be put to death. The Muslim Religion is very fanatical and in a country like Iran, they would not hesitate to apply it as they see it. Unlike Judaism, no one was put to death for being a homosexual, even during the time of the prophets.
Judaism is the true religion of peace.

Homosexuality has been and will continue to be of approximately the same percentage is was then and is now. That percentage is consistent throughout the world. Fifty years ago in America homosexuality was considered a mental illness by the American Psychiatric Assoc. and was only reclassified in 1972 in a vote of that organization by a margin of only 1%. There are many, in that organization and elsewhere, who still consider homosexuality as a mental illness.

False. And I don't believe there are no homosexuals in Iran. They might not be out of the closet, but I'm sure there are some. No matter how many people may wish that there was no such thing as homosexuality, there always will be.

Absolutely false in both cases. We had homosexuals and Iran has homosexuals. We however were aware of it 50 years ago, and a lot more than 50 years ago. Iran is in denial, oh and the blatant torture and murder of its gay children whenever its oppressive and evil government can manage to find them.

Completely False. There are homosexuals in Iran, there have been homosexuals since the beginning of mankind and there will be homosexuals until mankind's eventual demise.

Not really.
Everybody knew there were gays here, they were just expected to stay in the closet.
The president of Iran is dead serious. Come out of the closet there and you catch a bullet.
Now aren't you glad he's working to create an Islamic government in Iraq?
