I see teenage girls with small purses and grandmothers with handbags the size of a VW. Do they grow a little every year like a tree, are you feeding them, should I be frightened?

That is a good question isn't it?.I always notice that.definitely there is a reason for that, no one can figure out. Mine is in between for I'm not a teenager nor a granny. Grannies are getting younger these days so it depends how old are these so called grannies you talking about. Come back with this one in 30 years time and I'l tell you how big is my handbag then?.Lol.

I'm a grandma with an average sized handbag. It's not big enough though.
Especially when I have to keep half the stuff that should be in Mr.D's pockets in there too! lol x

I resent that remark! At 16 I was carring a purse bigger than a notebook....its easier to carry everything in...plus if yo have anything you pick up you can put itn in your purse instead of juggling them in your hands....tiny purses the size of wallets are soooo impractical...unless it's an accessory as opposed a functioning article.....i mean you need your wallet, pills(birth controll or other), chapstick, lipstick/lipgloss, extra hair tie, brush,keys.....so much more.... like a smaller purse in case you dont want to carry the big one you can put it in the trunk of your car.....pepper spray, perfume(dotn confuse the two...not so fun) deoderant, pack of gum, pad/tampon, flashlight(not a big one...just a little one....., extra batteries, mini-hacksaw...(you never know when you'll be in a bind handcuff keys are hard to keep track of....) cell phone....pen, little notepad.....hmm....what else?
ohyah... botte of water........hmmmm

No, I think girls just want "cute little" handbags and then grannys use them to carry all they're stuff in.

I see lots of young women with huge purses. Sickens me. I can't hardly find anything in my little purse.

that's awesome I was sitting trying to think of a way to prove you wrong but I can't because I see it everywhere. don't be scared just climb into the purse and you'll be safe.

i don't carry handbags makes me feel old but i know grandmothers use them to carry all there pills
