We have a side by side fridge with a water and ice maker. The water is clogged somehow and unable to come out. How can we open up the inside of the freezer door to access the water system?
And does anybody know what could be clogging it?

. How old is this machine? 10 years? The pipes could be plugged with scale from the hard water. Is it making ice cubes but no cold water?
Maybe the water line is plugged with bits of foreign matter that could be sucked or blown out with a small air compressor. If you have a 'wet vac', you might turn OFF the water, disconnect the line and try to suck the frig line dry. Then reverse the air flow and see if you can push any air throught to the water dispenser in the door.
If the line is scaled up, I doubt if even a repairman can clear it.

This isn't something you can do. You have to call an appliance repair person to look into it. Don't try to pull your freezer apart. It could wind up costing you a bundle more than the actual initial problem.
