I really enjoyed 1408 and would recommend it to anyone who likes scary movies.
It's probably not the kind of scary that will keep you up all night, afraid to turn off the light. It's just scary in a fun way.
There are a few creepy parts, but mostly it's sudden movements or loud sounds that make you jump. There's also some humor in it to lighten things up after some intense parts.
Of course if you're really afraid of scary movies you might want to watch it with a friend. You'll probably both be laughing at each other during the jumpy parts!

well i didnt think it was as scary as the commercial it wasnt scary just things came out of nowhere so u kinda jumped. but it was all kool. i love scary movies and it wasnt that scary just the only parts that made me jump was where the thimgs popped out. enjoy the movie!!!

i saw it in theaters and i really DIDNT think it was scary.
and i get scared veryy easily
it makes you jump a few times
but i guess you should watch it anyways

we just saw this last night. it's really not scary nor it it blood and guts. it was okay though a little predicatable.
