Let's take a closer look:
Carebears are the equivalent of sunshine, lollipops and rainbows. Everything good, filled with happiness, and problem free.
Smurfs are a strange bunch of blue things which live in woodland areas. There's only one female-Smurfette. The group of blue things are tormented by Gargamel and his cat- Azriel. The turmoil, drama and crisis caused by this warlock and his sidekick, turn the smurfs world upside down.
Smurfs. Definitely Smurfs. Just like prime time only in blue.
