The unfinished pyramid symbolizes like "The Growth Of Our Nation" or something and the eye is supposed to be the Eye of God. Or something. Here let me find a Wikipedia page on it ...just a sec...

its the great seal of the U.S. the pyramid shows strength and durability. It isn't finished because so is the work of building the nation at the time. The eye in the triangle is the all-seeing eye of providence. It is shown as representing the eye of God keeping watch on humankind

I think its called the all seeing eye? and it symbolizes that the united states is far from finsihed. Im not sure i'd have to check.

It is the all-seeing eye, and it is from our founding fathers. Most of them were freemasons, and were trying to hide a vast treasure located in New York under Trinity Church. We were hiding it from the guys from the UK.

It is the all-seeing eye, conspiracy theorists link it to the "illuminati", who are said to control the world -- when the wars start and end, who they are with, etc, and the eye is representitive of that.
