Hate and love are the extremes of emotion. I can't imagine hate ever being anything but hate. Love can become hate though. From my own experience, I've never stopped hating, once I had reason to hate. I've never stopped loving a person, unless they made loving them impossible. I've hated three men. One is alive, and I hope for a painful degrading death for him. I hate one woman- and truly can swear that there is no shred of love. I'd sooner sleep with a rabid, male wolf, with bad breath, fleas, and mange; than to touch it, meaning her.

There is a thin line between love and hate.
I have read this alot to, it is something alot of people say
when one has been betrayed or scorned by someone they loved dearly, greatly, passionately, and sincerely. When that happens the love is still there..
yet the abandonment, betrayal, and loss of trust are so overpowering, it can turn emotions that can really seem like hatred. The line thin, I don't know about that, if it was that thin some people in this situation would have not tried or loved for so many years. It's when the line has been crossed and no sincere repair is in sight that it becomes that way.

There is a very thin line between love and hate. It seems the more passionately and intense you love someone the more you hate them when its over and the colder you are to them emotionlly.
